Police are investigating after gunshots were reported near the Jonas Brothers while they were at a golf course in Aventura.
The brothers, who were in town for a concert at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, were at the J.W. Marriott Turnberry Resort Friday afternoon when the gunfire occurred, Aventura Police said in a statement Wednesday.
Police said a preliminary investigation revealed that someone from a high floor of a condo building near the golf course may have been shooting at ducks that were in a golf course pond using a pellet or BB gun.
No one was injured, and the Jonas Brothers performed their concert that same night.
"This remains a very active investigation and we are utilizing all of our resources in trying to find out who is responsible," police said in a statement. "This is an ongoing investigation at this time and no other information is available."
