According to the victim, who was not injured, she was traveling west on Pembroke Road when she two vehicles – described as white sedans – stopped in the roadway and blocked her at the 12900 block near the south entrance of Century Village.
The victim says one person got out with their face covered and opened fire as she reversed her vehicle trying escape.
"The fact that she survived this incident is miraculous, the fact she wasn't struck by a bullet is miraculous," Pembroke Pines Police Capt. Al Xiques said. "There were several bullets shot in her direction, they struck her vehicle, the fact that the bullets didn't strike her is an absolute miracle, she was very fortunate."
Police said the suspects abandoned one of the vehicles, a white four-door Dodge, that was found about a mile from the shooting scene. The car was stolen and police believe the second car used was also stolen.
