Police said an elderly man who had been missing from Pembroke Pines was found in North Carolina.
Allan Feldman, 91, rented a blue, four-door Suzuki sedan with the tag 190JPR. Authorities said he drove through Melbourne on Thursday night.
Police said Feldman was found in Smithville, N.C., stopped by the side of the road after he apparently ran out of gas on the side of Interstate-95.
Police had said Feldman is on medication for dementia, and when he was found, he was disoriented and shivering from the cold. He was transported to a local hospital to be medically cleared.
