Sisters Arrested After Allegedly Stealing Thousands in Merchandise From Westland Mall Macy's

Two sisters were arrested after allegedly shoplifting just over $1,800 in merchandise from a South Florida store.

Police arrested 25-year-old Nathaly Mardeni and her 29-year-old sister, Emilia, after the two walked out of the Macy’s department store inside the Hialeah Westland Mall.

Officers were alerted after store officials noticed the sisters putting items inside of bags they were carrying around the store. Once they exited, a store manager confronted them and detained them until police arrived.

Some of the items included bed sheets, clothing, shoes and make-up. Both were charged with third degree grand theft and later bonded out of jail.
