Police said a small plane landed on Alligator Alley Saturday evening.
According to police, a single engine Cessna suffered mechanical problems.
The plane landed in the eastbound lanes of mile marker 30 on Alligator Alley.
Police said two people were on board, but no one was injured.
Traffic is not being affected by the landing.
An investigation is now underway.
