Small Plane Makes Rough Landing at Pompano Beach Golf Course

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating after a small plane made a rough landing at a Pompano Beach golf course Tuesday night.

Two people were aboard the small engine plane when it went down at the Pompano Beach Municipal Golf Course around 9:30 p.m., Pompano Beach Fire Rescue spokeswoman Sandra King said.

The plane struck a fence, but no one was injured and no other damages were reported. The plane had come from Palm Beach County and was heading back there when it went down.

Investigators with the FAA are expected to begin their review of the incident Wednesday morning.
