Son Arrested in Shooting Death of Mother in Coral Springs

A man accused of shooting his mother to death in her Coral Springs home was arrested when he tried to board a plane in Palm Beach, police said.

Bradley Clarke Dorman, 31, was taken into custody Tuesday at Palm Beach International Airport after he tried to board a plane with a one-way ticket, Coral Springs Police said.

Dorman, of Lake Park, was being held without bond Wednesday in the Palm Beach jail. It's unknown if he's hired an attorney.

Police said Dorman's mother, 60-year-old Marilyn Clarke-Bevins, was found shot to death in her home on Oct. 27.

Officials are expected to hold a news conference later Wednesday to discuss the arrest.
