Broward's special cold night shelters in Pompano Beach, Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale were open as well.
Sunday went down as the coolest morning and afternoon of 2017 with a morning low of 47 in Fort Lauderdale and 50 in Miami. Highs struggled to move, but managed to hit 62 in Fort Lauderdale and 64 in Miami.
Monday looks a little warmer but still well below average with morning temperatures in the 40s and low 50s and highs struggling to hit the upper 60s. Average highs are in the upper 70s and average lows are in the mid-60s.
