Michael Lynch and Danielle Brabham won a contest to get married at the landmark NYC building

From Miami to the Big Apple: Michael Lynch and Danielle Brabham will be saying their Valentine’s Day vows at the top of New York’s Empire State Building.

“Just being able to get married on top of the Empire State Building is going to be ridiculous and everything went from zero to 60 in a heartbeat. So, with everything happening so quickly you don’t have much time to think about it but we're excited for it as it comes," said Michael Lynch.

Hurricane Isaac caught Lynch off-guard – messing up his plans to propose on a helicopter ride over the Magic City – but he popped the question in August anyway. Months later they won the Empire State Building’s annual Valentine’s Day Weddings Contest.

“The Empire State Building is one of the most amazing places there. It’s romantic. It's just ... we’re still praying for a little warm weather that day,” said Brabham.

They actually met exactly nine years ago, but it was the heartwarming video they submitted to the contest that got them a dream wedding which will be created specifically for them by celebrity event planner, Preston Bailey.
