South Florida Football Fans Kick Off 2013 NFL Season at Bars, Nightspots

Music mogul Luther "Uncle Luke" Campbell has high hopes for the Miami Dolphins this season

Football fans welcomed the start of the new season at bars and nightspots all over South Florida Thursday night.

Miami's own music mogul Luther "Uncle Luke" Campbell served up a taste of his new namesake rum at Wynwood's Gramp's bar. The avid football fan called it a must-have for the season.

"I mean, hey, you gotta have the chicken wings, you gotta have the rum, and you know, you gotta have the girls," Campbell said.

Though the Broncos and Ravens were on the screen, much of the bar talk centered on the home team.

"I think they're going to go all the way," Campbell said.

Down at Club LIV on Miami Beach, the Miami Dolphins cheerleaders rolled out their new calendar to rave reviews. Fan Gerald Robinson said the only thing better than his new calendar would be if his prediction came true.

"The Dolphins are gonna go all the way this year," he said.
