Authorities are looking for a young thief who was caught on camera stealing a $60,000 necklace at the Oakland Park Flea Market.

The theft happened back on Dec. 17 at Rambo Jewelry at the flea market at 3161 W. Oakland Park Boulevard, Broward Sheriff's Office officials said.

According to BSO, the owner of the shop was showing the pricey gold necklace featuring a large San Lázaro charm to the suspect, who is seen in surveillance footage trying it on.

The suspect quickly ran off with the necklace, sprinting through the parking lot to escape.

Officials said the suspect is between 18 to 20 years old, about 5-foot-9 with a thin build. He left behind the ID card of another person.

A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with info is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
