Calling all aspiring models: Sports Illustrated Swimsuit is holding its first-ever open casting call, and the inaugural event is happening right in Miami.
The three-day casting call at the W South Beach will be open for all models from July 13 to July 14. A panel of “experts” will provide modeling tips to prepare the candidates for the judges, according to a press release.
The judges - which include former supermodels and covergirls like Kate Upton, Christie Brinkley and Olivia Culpo - will then select 15 to 18 models to walk the runway show on Sunday, July 15. One model contestant will also land a spot in the 2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
Winners are expected to walk down the runway show at Paraiso during Miami Swim Week. The runway show on July 15 will open with American snowboarder Brenna Huckaby and close with 2018 cover model Danielle Herrington.
