Sprite Announces Limited Edition Drink Named After LeBron James

Sprite announced a limited edition drink with LeBron James' name on it

Sprite's classic lemon-lime drink is being remixed with the help of the Miami Heat's LeBron James.

The limited edition drink, called Sprite 6 Mix, is available now.

The drink comes in both 19.2-ounce cans and 20-ounce bottles. The flavor is a mix of cherry and orange, blended with the standard lemon-lime.

"I had a great time working with the Sprite team to turn my favorite flavors into a pretty cool variation of one of my favorite brands. I’m proud of what we created and I’m excited for my fans to try it," James told ESPN.

James is no stranger to endorsements and as ESPN pointed out -- he has been associated with Sprite's parent company Coca-Cola since the beginning of his NBA career. The can features a stylized number 6 along with a crown as a nod to his nickname "King James".

"I never imagined I would have my own flavor someday," James told ESPN.

Fans who want to try the drink will need to hurry -- Sprite will only keep it on the market for a limited time.
