Strip Club Bouncer Says Patron Threw Cement Object at His Head

A fight at a strip club was caught on camera, and now police are looking for a suspect.

A bouncer at a Southwest Miami-Dade strip club said he was attacked while on the job.

The victim, who just wanted to go by the name Dwayne, said he was seriously injured after trying to break up a fight that started near the entrance of Extacy South at 23101 South Dixie Highway on March 7th.

"A fight take place inside the club and, you know, my job is to make sure everybody get home safe," said the bouncer.

Surveillance video obtained exclusively by NBC 6 shows an argument starting at the entrance of the club, formerly known as QT's.

"The guy tried to swing at me," Dwayne said. "Then I maced the guy. And while I'm following behind the guy that I maced, that's when the next guy came behind me and hit me, right on my face."

The man had thrown a heavy cement object at Dwayne's head an knocked him out.

"Next thing I know, all this bleeding, it was open wide. It's just crazy," Dwayne said.

Dwayne said he was left with a concussion, a skull fracture and a blood clot the size of a lemon. He is now recovering at home.

"Right now I'm suffering from all these headaches and it's just hard for me," he said.

Meanwhile, Miami-Dade Police are now looking for a man seen leaving the scene in the surveillance video. Dwayne said he's a regular at the club.

"All I'm asking for is justice, that's all," Dwayne said. "You know, right now I'm shedding tears because of how I feel."

The owner of the club was not available for comment.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Miami-Dade Crimestoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
