    An 18-year-old student at Miami Carol City Senior High School was arrested after he was found with a loaded gun on campus, police said. NBC 6's Claudia DoCampo reports

    An 18-year-old student at Miami Carol City Senior High School was arrested after he was found with a loaded gun on campus, police said.

    Willie Lewis Moore was arrested at the school Thursday on charges of possession of a firearm on school property and grand theft, according to an arrest report.

    The report said police received a tip from a man who saw a student on a Metrobus carrying a firearm exit at the school. The man gave police a description of the student, later identified as Moore.

    When Moore's backpack was searched, police found a loaded Glock .42, the report said. A records check revealed the gun had been reported stolen in July, the report said.
