Suspect Sketch Released in Fatal Double Shooting in Southwest Miami-Dade

Police have released a sketch of a suspect in the armed robbery shooting that left two people dead over the weekend in southwest Miami-Dade.

The shooting happened around 4 a.m. Saturday near the M&M Too Sweet Lounge in the 12000 block of Southwest 220th Street and claimed the lives of 46-year-old Edward Seymour and 36-year-old VonTavius Sands, Miami-Dade Police said.

According to police, the victims were standing next to Seymour's Cadillac CTS when the gunman approached and shot the two men. The gunman the got in the driver's seat of the car and pointed a gun at a woman sitting in the passenger seat, demanded her property and told her to get out of the car, police said.

The suspect fled the scene in the car and the woman wasn't injured. Seymour and Sands were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police later found the Cadillac but they're still looking for the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
