    Police Looking for Hollywood Jewelry Thief

    The Hollywood Police Department released surveillance video of a suspect who they say stole $100,000 worth of jewelry from DSH Oakwood Jewelers. NBC 6 anchor Dan Grossman reports.

    Police in Hollywood are looking for a suspect seen in surveillance video stealing $100,000 worth of jewelry.

    The crime happened February 5 at DSH Oakwood Jewelers at 2897 Stirling Road. The Hollywood Police Department released the video Tuesday in the hopes the public can identify the suspect.

    The suspect, described as a black male in his late 20's, entered the store and asked to see some items locked in a display case. When the salesperson brought out the display, the suspect suddenly snatched several gold items and ran out of the store.

    Police said the suspect was seen entering a gold Lexus that was being driven by a black male. They fled northbound on Lakeshore Drive.

    The suspect was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue pants and a dark-colored hoodie.
