Suspect Wanted in Lauderhill Shooting That Injured Man, Child Arrested

A suspect wanted in connection with a shooting in Lauderhill that left a man and a 5-year-old child injured earlier this month has been arrested, police said.

Reginald Lee Jr., 18, was taken into custody Monday and faces two charges of aggravated battery causing bodily harm, Broward Sheriff jail records showed.

Police said Lee was wanted in the July 17 shooting at the Lauderhill Point Apartments that left the man and child injured. Lee had been involved in an altercation with the man, and the child had been standing nearby, police said.

Lee was being held on $200,000 bond Tuesday, jail records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.
