Miami Police say they've arrested a man in connection with a sexual battery incident in Little Havana last month.
Jose Angel Manzo, 29, was arrested Tuesday on charges including sexual battery, kidnapping, burglary and battery in the July 24 incident, officials said.
According to police, the suspect forced his way into a home in the area of Southwest 13th Avenue and Southwest 8th Street. Once inside, the suspect struggled with the victim as he held her down and took her clothes off, police said.
The suspect repeatedly sexually assaulted her before fleeing the home, police said. The 44-year-old victim was a stranger to the suspect, an arrest report said.
Detectives later released a sketch of the suspect, but officials said DNA results led them to Manzo.
Manzo was booked into jail, where he was being held without bond Wednesday, records showed. Attorney information wasn't available.
