Authorities in Fort Lauderdale are investigating after a mysterious yellow powder substance was found in the mailroom at the city's police department.
The reports of the suspicious yellow powder came in just after 10 a.m. Monday at police headquarters, located on Broward Boulevard near downtown Fort Lauderdale.
The city's fire hazmat teams responded to the scene and were working with joint command at Fort Lauderdale Police.
