The Department of Health in Miami-Dade County has lifted an advisory warning pet owners and their animals against swimming at Dog Beach on Virginia Key.
The advisory was issued Thursday after samples of beach water collected at the beach did not meet the recreational water quality standard for enterococci.
On Friday, the health department lifted the swimming advisory after a satisfactory microbial water quality test result.
