Tropical Depression Three Dissipates Over Open Atlantic Ocean

The National Hurricane Center on Tuesday said Tropical Depression Three has dissipated near the east coast of Florida.

The remnants of the storm system are located about 60 miles east-southeast of Daytona Beach. The system has maximum sustained winds of 35 mph and is currently moving north at a speed of 17 mph.

No warnings or watches are in effect.

Up to 3 inches of rainfall is possible in the northwest Bahamas on Tuesday.

The storm had little to no effect for South Florida other than increased rain chances.
