T-Mobile Robber Dragged Away Bag Full of Merchandise: Broward Sheriff's Office

The BSO on Friday released surveillance video of the Nov. 3 incident

A robber stuffed a bag so full of merchandise from a Pompano Beach T-Mobile store that he had to drag it across the floor on his way out, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

The crime occurred on Saturday, Nov. 3 at about 4 p.m. at the store at 295 S. Pompano Parkway, the BSO said in a statement.

One of the two robbers pulled out a black handgun and demanded money from the T-Mobile employees, forcing them into a back room to open the store’s safes, the BSO said.

The BSO on Friday released surveillance video of the episode that shows that both employees were forced to lay on the ground in the back room. Eventually one of the suspects dragged a clear garbage bag – full of phones and money, according to the BSO – out of the room and then through a display area of the store, the video shows.

The suspects also took a purse and a debit card and cell phone from the employees, the BSO said.

The BSO asks anyone who recognizes the suspects to call BSO Robbery Det. Vince Coldwell at 954-321-4270 or to report information anonymously to Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
