Authorities say 3-month-old Nicholas Scoble was in his father's care in 2007 when he was found not breathing in his crib. He was taken to a Tampa hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy found that the child had suffered head trauma, while an investigation determined that Charles Scoble had willfully and intentionally injured the boy.
