St. Pete Murder Suspect Arrested in Hialeah

Man is accused of running over his girlfriend with his car

U.S. Marshals caught a fugitive wanted for murder in St. Petersburg near a park in Hialeah on Tuesday.

Oliver Samuel, 30, was taken into custody, two days after officials believe he beat a woman over the head and then ran her over with his car at an apartment complex in St. Petersburg. The woman, 33-year-old Elfleter Bolden, died at the scene.

Officials had been tipped off that the suspect may have family in Miami-Dade.

Samuel was still driving the car, a 1996 Chevy Monte Carlo, when marshals noticed it parked near Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park. He has been charged with first-degree murder and is in Miami-Dade jail.
