A taxi driver was hospitalized after a collision with an ambulance in Miami Beach Friday morning, officials said.
The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. in the area of Abott Avenue and 72nd Street.
Miami Beach Police officials said the ambulance was carrying a stabbing victim when the collision happened. The stabbing victim had non-life threatening injuries.
The taxi driver was taken to a nearby hospital as a trauma alert, officials said. It's unknown what caused the crash.
Officials said the crash remains under investigation.
