A 14-year old is dead, the victim of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, Hialeah police are saying.
Information is sketchy, but the incident occurred near 1331 W. 40 St. in Hialeah Tuesday afternoon.
The shooting is the second violent encounter involving a teen in a week in the area.
On Thursday, 15-year-old Lisset Perez was gunned down with her mother by the teen's jealous ex-boyfriend. Adalberto Torrez, 21, eventually turned the gun on himself.
