A teen cyclist was hospitalized early Friday after his bicycle collided with a Broward Sheriff's Office squad car.
The accident happened at the intersection of State Road 84 and the Glades Parkway in Weston just after 7:30 a.m.
According to the BSO, the teen, approximately 15 or 16 years old, was hit by the cop car when he tried to cross over S.R. 84 at a red light after driving southbound on Glades.
The teen was conscious and breathing before he was airlifted to Broward General Hospital, BSO said. His injuries are unknown.
