Airport Named After Oprah?
How does booking a flight from MIA to OGWA sound? OGWA, as in the Oprah G. Winfrey International Airport. A city council member recently penned a letter to the airport authority asking them to change the name of the Nashville International Airport to be named after Oprah. Oprah was born in Mississippi but she got her start in Tennessee. Airport officials say a name change would require a significant contribution to aviation by the prospective honoree and has to be dead for at least two years.
