No. 1 – Only five shopping days left until Christmas

Those shipping deadlines are coming in fast - you can get your Amazon order in with a shipping fee while FedEx will ship until Christmas day through same-day shipping. UPS is only offering air-delivery through this Friday and the last day for priority express mail through the postal service is Saturday.

Do you remember what your friend got you last year for Christmas? A survey by Groupon finds that you forgot about 53 percent of last year's presents the best gifts to give are clothes, dinner, gadgets, a spa day and a trip. Don't give anyone wrinkle cream, a scale, exercise equipment, underwear and cleaning supplies.

No. 2 – ‘Hamilton’ begins South Florida run

It's here at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts until January 20th and tickets are going fast! Jackie Nespral caught up with Lin-Manuel Miranda who was promoting another project and talked about the success of the show – watch for that Thursday on NBC 6 News.

No. 3 – Deal between MLB, Cuban baseball league allows players to sign without defecting

The agreement ends decades of trafficking and defections from the island nation and allows any Cuban professional player over the age of 25 or with six years of playtime to be released from their contract and negotiate to play in the United States.

It also gives those players and their families visas to travel back and forth between the U.S. and Cuba during the off-season. If a player is signed from a Cuban club, the major league team is responsible for paying a release fee for the signing player.

No. 4 – First look at new live action ‘Aladdin’ film

Will Smith stars as Genie, with some new fresh faces taking on the roles of Aladdin and Jasmine. Unfortunately, the poster has already gotten plenty of online pushback with people just not liking the cast, set up or poster of the new flick.

One thing fans are very excited about is the new casting of Jafar. Marwan Kenzari is the new Disney villain and the reaction has been generally positive with many fawning over the 35 year old Dutch actor.
