No. 1 – Gov. Ron DeSantis names Hialeah native as next Supreme Court justice

Barbara Lagoa has been appointed to our state's high court. She was student council president at Monsignor Pace High School and is the first Cuban-American woman to serve on Miami’s appeals court and will become the first Hispanic woman to serve as a justice on the Florida Supreme Court.

No. 2 – Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, wife divorcing

It's the split everyone is talking about after 25 years of marriage - and it could result in the largest divorce settlement ever. They have four kids together and his net worth is believed to be more than $160 billion thanks to his stake in Amazon.

No. 3 – Miami Dolphins honor high school coach killed in Parkland shooting

The NFL announced their picks for the Don Shula High School Football Coach of The Year award and this year, the Dolphins are honoring coach Aaron Feis almost a year after the tragic massacre.

At the same time, starting next season the team will see plenty of former head coach Adam Gase – as he was hired by the rival New York Jets after three seasons in Miami and a combined record of 23-25.

No. 4 – Swim advisory for parts of Key Biscayne, Miami Beach

The areas include Crandon South on Key Biscayne and North Shore on Miami Beach at 73rd street and Collins Avenue due to fecal bacteria

No. 5 – NBC’s new hit show “The Titan Games” brings plenty of South Florida flavor

The show is back tonight at 9 pm as The Rock hosts and two natives of the area are taking part – and the duo payed a visit to 6 In The Mix on Wednesday to show off their talents and talk about what inspired them.
