No. 1 – Hurricane Michael continues push toward Florida, could become Category 3 before landfall

Residents in North Florida are bracing for the impact from the storm while a task force from South Florida is dispatched to the area to help with last minute preps, during and after Michael. NBC 6's Laura Rodriguez is in Panama City to cover the storm and its aftermath.

No. 2 - UN Ambassador Nikki Haley leaving post at end of year

Haley said she was resigning because it was time for someone else to take on the role. At the White House, President Trump commended the former South Carolina governor. She called her UN post "the honor of a lifetime.”

No. 3 - Tuesday brings final day to register to vote in Florida's 2018 general election

Anyone who has not yet registered can do so either online or in person at the supervisor or elections office in anyone of Florida’s 67 counties.

Those looking to register will need a social security number and either a driver’s license or Florida issued identification number.

No. 4 – Kanye West set to have lunch with President Trump at White House

The New York Times reports West is planning to meet with the President and son-in-law Jared Kushner on Thursday to talk about job opportunities for former convicts and manufacturing jobs in his hometown of Chicago.
