We're on day 26th of the government shutdown which continues to weigh-down on workers who haven't seen a paycheck in nearly a month. The owner of Chef Creole, the only Haitian restaurant at MIA, says it's important for the community to come together and make a difference for those in need.

No. 2 – Netflix raises prices for U.S. customers

The streaming service is raising its prices for all 58 million customers. Basic is going up a dollar as the HD plan is rising from $11 to $13 and premium will jump from $14 to $16 dollars a month. That price is in effect now for new customers while current customers we’ll see the change in the next 3 months.

No. 3 – Pitbull celebrates birthday with opening of new restaurant

The new spot on South Beach is called I Love 305 and it’s a place to dance, eat, drink and party on Ocean Drive and 11th Street.

Benefit is showing the true meaning of inclusivity and beauty by introducing 20-year-old Kate Grant in ads trying on their roller liner eyeliner. The company says Grant embodies everything they stand for as a brand and fans online are loving it.
