Police are looking for a pair of burglars who broke into an Aventura drone store early Tuesday and got away with about $30,000 worth of merchandise.
The burglary happened around 4 a.m. at Drone Nerds at 20614 Biscayne Boulevard, Aventura Police said.
"You try to run an honest operation and this is the second time we've been robbed in less than a year. It's frustrating," said Jeremy Schneiderman, store owner. "You do everything you can to prevent it, but the criminals don't care."
Surveillance cameras showed the thieves smash through the front door and ransack the store. Police said they took drones, hoverboards and other items.
"It's a high value item and it's easy for them to sell and get a pretty good value out of it," Schneiderman explained, referring to the drones.
The suspects left the scene in a stolen pickup truck, police said.
