A family in Northwest Miami-Dade took matter in their own hands after they say they were victims of thieves.
Mayra Gallardo and Harold Garcia say their ATVs and a trailer were stolen from their backyard.
The duo did some good old fashion detective work to lead police their stolen items.
“We spread the word through family and friends and social media. We got a hit of a location today and came by,” said Garcia.
The alleged victims said they say the items in the backyard of a home and called police.
They are now waiting on detectives to search the property so they can get their belongings returned.
“Hopefully we can get it all and go riding on Saturday, " said Garcia.
