A 2-year-old girl who was hit by a car in a Margate parking lot and was airlifted to the hospital Monday morning has died, police said.
Margate Police say the girl was hit in the parking lot of a Walmart, located at 5555 W. Atlantic Blvd. The vehicle remained at the scene.
The child was airlifted to Broward General Medical Center where she later died, police said.
