Drivers along Congress Avenue in Boca Raton are dealing with quite the delay Thursday morning as a tractor-trailer accident caused the closure of both ramps from I-95.
The accident took place shortly after 4:15 AM. Officials say the trailer crashed into the retainer wall of the ramps, causing it to hang over the edge.
According to WPTV, the driver of the trailer said he thought he was getting into an express lane when the accident occured.
Traffic has been mildly affected on the mainline of I-95, with minor delays around the exit. Travelers on the Tri-Rail system were also advised of major delays as a result.
