Trio Arrested in Hollywood Home Invasion, 911 Call Released

Three suspects in an armed home invasion in Hollywood were behind bars Tuesday, officials said.

Denton Spencer, 19, Kervens Rene, 20 and Kenroy Gayle, 22, are all facing charges in the Saturday morning home invasion in the 1300 block of Fillmore Street, Hollywood Police said.

All three were being held without bond Tuesday, and it's unknown if they've hired attorneys.

According to police, officers responded to the home just after 4:30 a.m. The 69-year-old victims, a man and woman, told officers they were awoken by the trio who wore masks and demanded money.

The victims said they were tied up by the intruders, who ransacked the home and stole cash, jewelry and electronics, police said.

Police learned the crime had been planned, and that two of the suspects had been previously employed by the victims. Officers were able to track down the suspects and arrest them without incident, authorities said.

Two firearms and the property stolen from the victims' house were recovered, police said.
