Officials placed two schools in Broward County on lockdown Monday after reports of a suicidal woman being in the area.
Officials say students at the schools – North Lauderdale Elementary and Silver Lake Middle, located off Kimberly Boulevard – were not in danger and the lockdown is being done as a precaution.
The lockdown was later lifted.
No information was given about the woman or if anyone else is in danger.
