Several Broward County schools were placed on lockdown Thursday after reports of a suspicious person who was possibly armed walked onto the campus of a school.
The incident happened at Millennium Middle Schoo lin Tamarac.
Police immediately set up a perimeter and secured Millennium Middle, as well as Challenger Elementary School. The schools were placed on lockdown.
Later that afternoon, the lockdown was cleared. Officials found an airsoft gun and magazine on the school's grounds.
An investigation is still underway.
