BSO Searching For Two Men Who Burglarized Construction Trailer

A man dressed like a construction worker and his crowbar-wielding accomplice were caught on surveillance camera stealing expensive tools and equipment from a construction company’s trailer, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Video shows one of the men approaching the CCK Construction trailer at 501 N.W. 10th St. in Dania Beach, officers said. After checking to see if the door was unlocked, the man returned to a white van parked outside. Moments later, the suspect approached the door of the trailer again, this time clutching a crowbar. His accomplice follows closely behind, his identity concealed by a camouflage jacket. Both suspects appear to take turns with the crowbar to break open the door.

Once inside, both men are seen taking several items from the trailer and transporting them outside. One suspect is wearing a neon safety vest, a uniform typically seen on construction workers. He is also wearing a hoodie, beige pants, a hat and a white covering that conceals the lower part of his face, BSO said. The other suspect had on a blue and white striped shirt and white sneakers.

Workers at CCK Construction saw the office trailer had been burglarized on June 5. Police are actively searching for the suspects, who stole thousands of dollars worth of equipment from the company.

BSO asks anyone with information to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477) or online at browardcrimestoppers.org.
