Two Men Hospitalized After Shooting Near Little Havana Neighborhood

Two men were rushed to the hospital after an early morning shooting Sunday in a Little Havana neighborhood.

Miami Police say the shooting took place around 8 a.m. near the intersection of Southwest 33rd Avenue and 6th Street and one person was detained and being interviewed by detectives.

Officials say both men were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital, with one of the victims transferred to the Ryder Trauma Center unit. Both victims are reportedly in critical condition.

Investigators have not released a motive in the incident at this time.
