The Pembroke Pines Police Department is searching for two suspects who stole two Rolex watches, valued at about $11,000, from a jewelry store.
Ricely Tejada, an employee at Jewelry Discounters located at Pembroke Road and Flamingo Road, said the suspect pair "just acted like they were gonna buy a watch" on Saturday.
“We made the mistake of taking more than one watch out of the time so while she was talking about one watch – the other watch, he took it and he put it in his pocket with the pillow and everything," Tejada said. “I mean, you know it makes us feel very upset just because, obviously, we work hard for it and then people just come and take the easy way out and take it.”
Anyone with information is urged to call Broward Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 954-493-8477. The owner of the store is offering a $10,000 reward for the arrest of the suspects.
“I’m just hoping that we’re able to catch him," Tejada said.
