A hail of gunfire lit up the streets Monday night in Miami's Brownsville neighborhood.
Police say one person was killed in the shooting that happened on Northwest 46th Street and 19th Avenue.
The victim, 22-year-old Alvin Parker, was driving in a car when an unknown vehicle drove up beside the car and someone opened fire. Parker lost control and crashed into the front yard of a house. No one at the home was hurt.
Parker died on the scene. NBC 6 spoke with a family friend who did not want to be identified. She said the victim did not bother anyone.
No one else was inside the victim's car.
Detectives have no information on possible suspects or a motive.
