Two women were hospitalized after the minivan they were in collided with an on-duty Broward County Sheriff's deputy's cruiser Sunday night.
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 4800 block of State Road 7, according to the Sun-Sentinel.
The two women and a man were riding in the Ford Windstar when it cut in front of the cop when it swerved to turn into a minivan, according to the deputy.
A witness at the scene corroborated the deputy's story, police said.
The two women were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. The deputy and the man in the minivan weren't injured.
