Two-Year Construction Project to Begin on Hialeah Road: FDOT

The project will result in three northbound lanes and three southbound lanes

A construction project estimated to take almost two years is scheduled to begin Monday in Hialeah, the Florida Department of Transportation announced.

The FDOT said it will begin the $14 million roadway construction on State Road 823, also known as Northwest 57th Avenue, from West 46 Street until West 54th Street.

The main objectives include widening the road and adding a lane, installing drainage structures and constructing a central median.
