Universal Orlando Set to Hire 2,500 Employees Ahead of Spring Break Season

One of Florida’s top theme parks is looking to fill thousands of positons ahead of the busy spring break season.

Universal Orlando announced they will hold several job fairs over the next few weeks to hire around 2,500 full and part time workers, according to WESH-TV, for positions that include everything from attractions, food services and sales to custodial and warehouse.

The hires comes as the theme park is increasing base hourly pay to $12 starting Sunday. Anyone interested must fill out an online application and will be contacted about the next steps.

At the same time, additional lifeguards are being hired at Volcano Bay – with hourly rates starting at $12.50 for aquatic attractions and $13.50 for deep water lifeguards.
