Universal Studios, Nintendo Announce Game Themed Areas, Attractions At Parks

Visitors to Universal’s theme parks across the world – including in Orlando – are soon going to get a chance to truly be a part of some of the most classic video games of all time.

Universal Parks and Resorts, who had announced a future partnership with famed video game maker Nintendo last year, revealed there will be game themed areas at their parks in Orlando, Hollywood and Japan.

The themed areas will include attractions, shops and restaurants that the group says will “make you feel as if you’re playing inside your favorite games.”

The parks will open separately at each of the three locations over the next few years.

Comcast Corporation is the parent company of both Universal Orlando and this site.
