The University of Miami now has bragging rights over other colleges and universities in Florida – after being ranked the top school in the Sunshine State by one magazine.
U.S. News and World Report ranked the best universities from across the country, with UM coming in at 44th overall. That is up seven sports from their ranking last year.
Two other schools ranked in the Top 100 – the University of Florida at No.50 and Florida State University at No. 92. Other schools that received a ranking include the University of South Florida and University of Central Florida, along with Florida Institute of Technology and Nova Southeastern University.
Princeton University was ranked as the top university overall, followed by Harvard University, University of Chicago, Yale University and Columbia University.
