Police are urging the Miami Lakes community for more information about a hit-and-run crash that left a 75-year-old woman with critical injuries over the weekend.

Natalie Farber was struck Saturday afternoon at the busy intersection of Bedlington Road and Fairway Drive. She was airlifted to the hospital with severe injuries.

Heartbroken neighbors told NBC 6 cars just fly by in the area and that someone not too long ago got struck by a vehicle and died.

Miami-Dade police have very little information about the crash, including a description of the driver, the vehicle in question and even which direction they off in.

    The crash remains under investigation.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Miami-Dade police at 305-471-2425. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Tips that lead to an arrest can be eligible for an award up to $1,000.
